Golf In Dubai

The Emirates Golf Club

Is an oasis of green on the fringe of the city. The Middle East's first championship venue, both its immaculate 18 hole, 72 par courses inspire players of all abilities to give of their best.

The clubhouse, echoing the design of traditional Bedouin tents, offers a superb 5 star French restaurant, bars and lounges. Individual or group tuition can be had from PGA qualified professionals, with access to a 3 hole Academy Course, two driving ranges and an air-conditioned teaching centre with state of the art video swing analysis.

Facilities include swimming pools, gym, squash, tennis and a well-stocked Pro Shop.

The Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club

Home to the Dubai Desert Classic, is situated within easy reach of the city centre and Dubai International Airport. This world class venue is the focal point of an impressive sports and leisure complex which includes a 115-berth marina.The main championship course is a par 72, 6,839 yarder. A further 9-hole, par 3 fully floodlit course is the perfect short game practice facility.

A Golf Academy, High Tech Studio and double ended driving range are available, with tuition from six PGA qualified professionals. Built in the style of an Arab dhow, the clubhouse's bars, function rooms and renowned Fairways Restaurant overlook the ninth andveighteenth greens and the stunning Dubai cityscape repectively.

The Dubai Country Club

Offers a very different golfing experience. The oldest course in the emirate is literally built on sand. It features " browns" instead of "greens", and golfers carry with them a small piece of artificial turf from which to play when on the fairway.There's a challenging 18 hole par 71 course over 6,431 yards, plus a2,270 yard 9 hole par 32 course with alternate tee boxes which can be used to vary play over 18 holes.

An extensive complex with bars and two excellent restaurants, The Dubai Country Club offers swimming, racquet spors, a24 bay floodlit driving range and coaching from a fully qualified PGA Professional.
