The Dubai Desert Classic Organising Committee has confirmed that next year’s tournament – to be staged over the Emirates Golf Club’s Majlis Course – will be held from March 3-6, 2005.
A key event on the PGA European Tour calendar, the 16th Dubai Desert Classic will once again be sponsored by Dubai Aluminium (DUBAL) and is expected to attract the leading European Tour players as well as invited world stars.
This year, former US Masters and British Open champion Mark O’Meara received the famous trophy from HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and UAE Minister of Defence after a four-day battle against a field that also included world number one Tiger Woods, South African superstar Ernie Els and several European Ryder Cup stars.
“The 2004 event was the biggest since the Desert Classic was first staged in 1989,” said Organising Committee Chairman HE Mohammed Alabbar.

The Terrace Hospitality Package
Terrace Hospitality is located on open terraces overlooking the putting green & the swimming pool, of the Emirates Golf Club. While the seating arrangement is tables of ten, bookings can be made for individuals. If the group size is under ten, there is a possibility that other individuals will share the table. Guests have access to all areas of the course & Clubhouse, except other Hospitality Areas. All drinks are on Cash Bar basis.
The Terrace Hospitality Package includes the following:

Only Desert Classic Packages cannot be booked as a stand-alone service. Cancellations and amendments with no charge will only be accepted on or before the 01st January 2005. Cancellations and amendments received after this date will be charged in full. Prices mentioned are nett, non-commissionable and are per person. Payment in full must accompany this booking application to confirm a reservation unless prior credit has been confirmed. Badges and event documentation will not be issued until the full payment due has been received. Please ensure all reservation requests are clearly marked with the appropriate booking code. We regret that there will be no re-issue of badges lost or stolen after collection or delivery. No food or drink may be brought into the badged hospitality enclosures.
